Die Setter Block

The Adjustable Die Setter Safety Blocks provide safety during set up and maintenance for power presses. This is done by mechanically and electrically preventing inadvertent die closure. The 3” round model Safety Blocks are for smaller presses, with a maximum static load of 35 tons having a wide span of adjustable heights. The standard horseshoe shaped die blocks can be used in large presses, with a maximum static load of 125 tons. Proper selection of style and size are determined by the press’ static load and required range of open height. Blocks are made of high strength lightweight extruded aluminum with adjustable screw are quick and easily adaptable. Selection of the proper style and size is determined by the press static load and the required open height.

The GPA Dual Safety Valves are designed with an intrinsically dynamic safety control system that meets or exceeds European Standard EN-692, OSHA and ANSI Requirements for use on pneumatically operated power presses. These dual safety valves are ruggedly constructed and have European Safety Certification that exceeds many of the other competitive brands of valves on the market, and yet the GPA Valves are affordably priced.
The Valves continuously internally monitor themselves with each operation. In the event that the valve detects a malfunction, the valve will self-lock and will only reset itself when power is removed and the normal operation is restored. An auxiliary external pressure monitoring system with manual reset is available as an option. Two optional pressure switches are required for this option.
